A great documentary about the music that came out of the Laurel Canyon between 1965 – 1967! Music by The Byrds, The Beach Boys, Buffalo Springfield and The Mamas and the Papas created the California Sound.

This one managed to get under my skin…. AND I loved it! Every second of it. There is a lot of “TAXI DRIVER“ in this one.
And Joaquín Phoenix kills it! What a mindblowing – touching and creepy performance.
I hope he finally gets the OSCAR for this one! WOW!

Johansson & Driver are breathtakingly good! And then you got Dern, Liotta, Alda, Hagerty, Wever…. WOW!

I was blown away by this beautiful film! It had me after a few seconds and it deeply touched me.

What a story – what a fantastic cast. And there were some of the most beautiful shots I’ve seen in a while.
